A step-by-step approach
Definition:
The goal of this simulation model is to build a cannon factory that manufactures 3 types of cannons. Each type has different characteristics and requires different cycle times and resources. Moreover, the cannon factory contains 2 sub-assemblies to build the cannon wheels.
In this example the cannon will be comprised of a base, a barrel and a set of wheels that varies based on the cannon type to be built. After the cannon is built it is moved to a warehouse using a carrier.
