In the flow properties, object definition
and containment interface, create 2 objects; Part1 and Part2.

Create a start process; Set the object
creation rules to “Create objects based on Distribution” and
select Part1 and Part2 from the list on the right. Set the
distribution to 40% part1, 60% part2

Create a generic process called “Process1”.
Open the Detailed timing interface and set the default time to
min of 5, max of 8.

Create another generic process called
“Process2”. Open the detailed timing interface and set the
default time to min of 3, max of 9.

Create an end process, and connect the
flow; Start to process1, Process1 to Process2, Process2 to end.

Run the simulation.

Resize the lower pane in order to display
the model stats.

Click on “Enable dynamic refresh”, and
display timings in seconds.

On the left side of the pane, a summary of
all objects is displayed.

Click on Process1, the statistical data for
the process is displayed on the right; Select Process2 and a
connector. As the model develops, the statistical data will be
updated.
