Basic model statistics

This tutorial will help you locate and analyze the statistical data generated during the run for your simulation model

  • In the flow properties, object definition and containment interface, create 2 objects; Part1 and Part2.

  • Create a start process; Set the object creation rules to “Create objects based on Distribution” and select Part1 and Part2 from the list on the right. Set the distribution to 40% part1, 60% part2

  • Create a generic process called “Process1”. Open the Detailed timing interface and set the default time to min of 5, max of 8.

  • Create another generic process called “Process2”. Open the detailed timing interface and set the default time to min of 3, max of 9.

  • Create an end process, and connect the flow; Start to process1, Process1 to Process2, Process2 to end.

  • Run the simulation.

  • Resize the lower pane in order to display the model stats.

  • Click on “Enable dynamic refresh”, and display timings in seconds.

  • On the left side of the pane, a summary of all objects is displayed.

  • Click on Process1, the statistical data for the process is displayed on the right; Select Process2 and a connector. As the model develops, the statistical data will be updated.
