Open the flow
properties and click on the object creation option. Add a new
object called Part1. The object part1 will be displayed in the
default image "Blue Box" of Simcad Pro.
Enable the Resource
definition interface in the flow properties, and open it.
In the name field,
type Resource1, In the Available number field enter 1 then click
Add. This will create the definition of 1 resource of type
Resource1.
Close the interface
and the flow properties.
Create a start
process that creates objects of type part1.
Create a generic
process, and set its default timing to 5.
Enable the Process
Resources interface in the advanced settings and open it.
Enter 1 in the
required number for resource1
Close the interface
and Ok the process creation
Add an end process
then connect the flow Start to process1, process1 to end
Run the simulation,
the default resource image is displayed next to process1
indicating that the process is utilizing the resource.
