I'd like to be able to load my layouts into Simcad and build my model on top of the layout. How hard is this to accomplish?

Sure, Bill, you can upload layouts to build upon very easily. All this requires is inserting a generic process with the layout uploaded as the process's image. You'll then stretch the image out, then with 2 mouse clicks tell the image to lock in place and to send to the back of the other images. You can then modify the area of the standard 1 foot by 1 foot grid interface as needed so that the area of the grid matches the area of the layout.
