In 2014, my company will be implementing a new program that will significantly ramp up the volume coming into our facility. I'm concerned that the rail lines we have in place currently are insufficient, and will lead to back up and severely hurt our efficiency. How can I use Simcad simulation software to determine if the lines we have in place currently can handle a 25-30% increase in volume, so that we don't spend money adding rail lines unnecessarily?

Justin

Hi John, Simcad simulation software will easily help with that analysis. Additionally, once the model is created it can be used as a daily management tool providing optimized schedules for the loading and routing of the rail cars. You can access the demo at http://createasoft.com/RequestADemo Thanks, Justin
