Rebecca More-

Which version of Simcad will allow me to do my models in 3D? Is 3D in all the versions? How do I fine tune where the parts land on the 3D images for each process? Thank you

We offer several versions of Simcad Pro, two of which offer 3D modeling capabilities. Simcad Advanced integrates 3D visualization and allows users to model basic animation. This capability allows users to see parts and resources flowing through the 3D model. Furthermore, users also have the capability to import both 2D and 3D CAD files to improve model accuracy. Simcad Elite builds on these capabilities and further allow users to animate objects within processes, resources, and other custom visualizations. For example, users can animate human resources moving from one process to another.

Users also have the capability to fine tune where parts are positioned, for example on a machine. Depending on what version of Simcad owned, users can accomplish this by entering the display settings and manually defining the offsets and rotations in Simcad Advanced. In Simcad Elite, users only need to use the arrow keys on their keyboard and can adjust on-the-fly.
