1. Can I set the background image for a model in simcad pro 2. Can I make a url (hyperlink) link from a process or from any point in a model?

You can add a background image by inserting an image holder (the black and red icon in the process toolbar), and setting its display properties to point to the image needed. Before you close the process display properties, modify the process layer to 0, so that the image will be in the background. Simcad Pro has 11 display layers, 0 being the lowest one and 10 the top most one. Layers can be displayed or animated separately through the layer control interface under the view menu. After the image is added to the canvas, you can resize it as needed, then when it is positioned where you need it to be, right click on it and select "lock process". This will prevent the image from accidentally moving while clicking around in the model. You can include multiple images, and display them on different layers if needed. There is no limit on the number of images that can be loaded within the model.

Hyperlinks within the model can be done in 2 ways; 1 - in the process map view, each process can have multiple hyperlinks that can connect to either other applications or to a URL. The hyperlink will only be active when the model is in the process map view mode.

2 - A process can be set to respond to a right click or left click mouse command, then based on the click it can open Internet explorer and pass a link to it so it can be opened. You have control on where to open the window on the screen (based on position). The call to IE is made on the LeftMouseClick (RightMouseClick) Event within the process extension section. Let me know if you need an example, and I will post one under the support forum.

Is there any way to highlight a bunch of images and change their layer level? Or do I have to do it one by one? Thanks.

When I apply changes to multiple processes I first select all the processes I need to modify and then change the value. Before I accept the changes I make sure to select "Apply changes to all"

If I recall correctly, I used an extension when I was modifying a ton of processes. I didn't want to click on everything and mess up or select the wrong process by mistake. (The model has 1000's of processes). I think the extension was SetItemLayerNumber. Once I had my overall process flow defined I was able to use the dynamic capability and interact with the model to tweak it and make final changes.
