- I am doing some comparisons between tools and would like some more information on your products. What is the biggest difference between your tools and others on the market, I have seen some webinars for other products and my main concern is having the ability to build models without writing c++ and c# coding, modules are good but it seems that any changes to those requires me to dig in and learn cryptic programming language, I really don't have the time nor desire to do that. Will SimCad Pro help me avoid this dilemma and if so, how? Thanks

Justin

Hi Ryan, Simcad operates on patented technology not available to traditional simulation vendors. Traditional simulation is based on a GUI that interacts with the engine, any interaction with the GUI generates code that is sent to the engine that needs to be compiled. As you've found out, those blocks or modules seem like a great idea until they need to be modified and modifications to the behavior of the pre-programmed blocks/modules require scripting, c# or c++ skills. Simcad's patented dynamic simulation environment eliminates this drawback. In Simcad the user is actually interacting directly with the engine, there is no code generated or compiled in Simcad. Secondly, ~95% of all models that accurately model the environment require zero code. This is due to the extensive user interface developed based on client feedback. Of course, there are some times that have models require some scripting, i.e. extensive interaction with external tools and applications and these cases often times require some VB scripting (similar to what you work with in Excel). If you have any specific questions on how Simcad may apply to your goals and requirements please contact CreateASoft for more details Justin More on Simcad Process Simulator More on SimTrack - Live tracking and Analysis More on Value Stream Analyzer
