I am playing with a simulation model, trying to increase my skill level. Came across an idea but now I want to know how to actually simulate it. The idea is that there is X number of ideas generated each month, these ideas are then presented all on one day. The panel then decides which of the ideas goes further and which do not. So I basically want all ideas to be held until a specific day of the month, and on that day all of those ideas are released to continue, whether they were there for 1 day or 30. The idea for what I am trying to do was basically inspired by "Dragons Den"

Hi Jan,
I would use the work order to define the idea generation. Under "Flow Properties...Additional Properties Definition" define an Object parameter to set the number of days to wait before presentation. After each day passes you can set the routing of the "Idea buffer" process to release ideas for presentation. From there the idea objects can be accepted, denied, or shelved until a future meeting. Attached is an example. Idea Example Download
