Your website mentions your use of Patented Predictive Technology, I was wondering if this mean that your system uses a different simulation engine than other tools in the market?

Hi Ekhart, Simcad and SimTrack use proprietary & patented technology, and are not based on the old modeling approach of traditional code based environments. These traditional tools are often marketed as no-code, which is true provided that you stay within the limits of what their pre-coded modules are set to do. Beyond that, any change to the module will require you to code (and learn or debug the pre-written code in the module) in order to achieve the desired behavior. In traditional tools, it is often quite simple to create a basic model with parts/object/information flowing and that is where it ends. To accurately model any valid situation in traditional simulation software you'll need to change expand and customize those convenient blocks. Ready to jump in to the C#, C++ world and become a programmer?

Simcad and SimTrack's patented solution provides the ability, through user driven interfaces, to accurately model the environment, and for the code savy and programmers there is a VB scripting engine available.

The predictive aspect is provided by the truly dynamic way in which Simcad and SimTrack work. As the model is running, it is possible (without code) to connect to live systems, PLC's, RFID, Barcode, etc. SimTrack provides a real-time visual representation of the live operation – think of it as a virtual camera system that follows every part, resource, or entity. In addition, the virtual camera is computing the current efficiencies, potential bottlenecks, and alerts you when a problem is about to interfere with the operation. This functionality is included with SimTrack as an “Out-Of-The-Box” implementation that is done without writing a single line of code. In addition, SimTrack provides a web interface to enable dashboard views that can be displayed from any authenticated browser.

I hope that helps.
