The new Storage Rack Build module allows users to quickly build warehouse style racks for both use in 2D and 3D. Select the Storage Rack option from the Auto Create drop down and select Build Module and click and drag an area in the view. The window pops up with options for how to build the row of storage racks. A group is made with all of the desired racks, the processes in the front of the racks are the load/unload processes. There are no connection lines between these processes and the rack processes, the use of internal tables and object variables will allow the objects to travel between one another. Use the Path module to connect the Storage Rack module to the rest of the model.

This model is an example of a pick and replenishment warehouse setup and the use of the Storage Rack modules allow for quick and easy builds to use in 3D to track inventory information at the racks. Simcad Module can be found in the Simcad Training and Tutorials section on CreateASoft.com
